Flip for the MT

A new flip class example I did for the Management Team to see how it works...

School closure

Hi all,

Most of you have been doing a great job. Unfortunately, some of you have not been participating effectively. I just want to remind you that we will not be going back on this content due to time restraints. All of this work is being graded. If you have any issues please let me know.

Cheers,
Mr. Dan

Getting to know Google Forms

Awsome I say... awsome. I have recently been working with Google forms and have put together some cool data gathering tools. I have developed a walk through program that will help with gathering data for both WASC accreditation and a pd pod style mini conference for our teachers. I must admit, its very slick... have a look at it and try some experimentation

First attempt at Flip with some twists... Im not there.

My first attempt at using Camtasia to make a short video of a Prezi that I made (with the help of another). I had to go to a meeting at another campus so I thought I'd try it instead of giving my subs some extra work. I'm sure they will appreciate it, not sure if the kids will. I'm going to buy a pad that I can draw on so that I can illustrate the Prezi while I'm talking. Its a bit weird listening to my voice as I was recording but it seems pretty easy.

Using Flipped Classroom by Mr. Bennett

Im using this style in my classroom, but with a twist. Less objective based for assessment and teaching and more differentiation based. Also, I like to use it as an "anchor" for student learning. I have asked my students their opinion and there was nothing but positive responses... Try it out.

Another great resource www.bennettchemistry.com. This guy is using reverse instruction effectively.
